Hi, I'm Kevin, I started yoga because I got hurt playing rugby. I never planned on sticking with yoga afterwards and never thought I'd be a teacher, but yoga has a special way of working its magic.

My first yoga class was tough for me (actually, my mom had been doing yoga for years and all of her friends were commenting on how the young one..me.. could barely touch his toes), but over the years with consistent practice, I've made so much progress and never forget how it was to be a beginner. Sometimes people see the things we're working on in class like deep folds and binds, headstands, forearm stands, and handstands and say "there's no way I can do that". My response to them is - "first, you need to believe in yourself, because from there you can do anything you put your mind to."

My goal as a teacher is to help students get wherever they're looking to go in their practice. Usually more experienced students (people with some yoga experience) will gravitate towards my classes, but more than that, it's people that want to go deeper in their practice, have fun, and be supported by a room full of people always there to cheer and laugh with each other. 

For me, yoga is about helping others.. being there for others - so whether you're a new or experienced yogi, I'm here to support you and would love to have you in class so we can all support each other.
